Efficient installation of DLR sensors

Our LineDrone, designed to operate safely on high-voltage lines, sets a new standard in smart grid monitoring.
It enables the installation of Dynamic Line Rating (DLR) sensors directly on energized power lines, without any power outage or manual intervention. This breakthrough highlights how drone technology is revolutionizing the way utilities monitor, maintain, and optimize transmission infrastructure.

Reduction of installation costs

Using the LineDrone to install DLR sensors significantly reduces installation costs and time, and accelerates deployment, making it a true game-changer for the industry and a key enabler for scaling smart grid technologies.

Minimal time on site

Thanks to extensive R&D and meticulous mission planning by our experts, the LineDrone DLR completes the installation in only a few minutes, drastically reducing on-site intervention and eliminating the need for line shutdowns.

Deployment on live lines

Deployment of a DLR Sensor can be done on energized overhead lines up to 315 kV.

Safety of your technicians

This new installation technique using the LineDrone keeps technicians safe by reducing the need for them to work on live lines.

Conductor compatibility

Compatibility on single up to quadruple bundles with cable diameters between 16 and 40 mm.
